THE SPIRIT OF GIVING DURING RAMADAN

The Kenya Navy Muslim faithful led by Lieutenant Colonel Imam Salim Mwarorah donated assorted food items such as rice, cooking oil, beans, potatoes and dates to Noor Orphanage for Girls in Mtongwe, Mombasa County on 05 April 2024.

In his address during the event, Lieutenant Colonel Mwarorah emphasized the significance of remembering the less privileged in the society through charity and encouraged the girls to uphold their Muslim faith.

“This charitable effort is intended to help the less privileged members of the society during the holy month of Ramadan. Remember that you are loved and valued, and that there are people who will always support you,” said Lieutenant Colonel Mwarorah.

Mr. Mohamed Karega Kassim, Treasurer of Noor Orphanage for Girls, Mtongwe thanked the Kenya Navy Muslim faithful for their kind gesture and consideration during this fasting period.

Lieutenant Colonel Mwarorah was accompanied by Lieutenant Abdulaziz Boneya, Kenya Navy Muslim personnel and local Muslim leaders.
