His Excellency Andrzej Duda President of the Republic of Poland today laid a wreath of flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior in a ceremony held at Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museum (UGNM&M) in Lang’ata, Nairobi.
The Head of State was received by the Air Force Commander Major General John Omenda, where the Kenya Air Force personnel conducted a troop-in-line parade for the dignitary.
A minute of silence was also observed with respect to all the fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate price while serving the Country.
The Polish President was accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and Macro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Mr. Simon Chelugui.
Also present were the Defence Headquarters Chief of Personnel Brigadier Elijah Gatere, Director UGNM&M Colonel Catherine Lagat, and Senior Military Officials.
