KENYA NAVY JUNIOR SERVICE MEMBERS GRADUATE

Commander Kenya Navy Fleet (KNF) Brigadier John Kiswaa, on 29 September 2022, presided over the graduation ceremony of Junior Leadership Command (JLC) course at the Kenya Naval Training College (KNTC) in Mtongwe, Mombasa.

While making his remarks, Brigadier Kiswaa congratulated the graduates for successfully completing the course and urged them to fully exercise the acquired skills in their respective fields of operations.

“The training you have received here prepares you for bigger responsibilities. I urge you to utilize all the knowledge and skills you have acquired from this Course in performing your assigned tasks competently,” said Brigadier Kiswaa.

The Commandant Kenya Naval Training College (KNTC) Colonel Eliud Keter commended the graduates for the hard work and high level of discipline they exhibited during the training.

“Throughout the Course, I am happy to say that KNTC did not witness any indiscipline cases from you. Keep it up. The obligation is now on you to further your learning in order to be more competent and knowledgeable Service Members who can execute your tasks efficiently,” stated Colonel Keter.

The JLC is aimed at equipping the Service Members with knowledge and skills on Leadership, Command, Management and Administration necessary to undertake command functions at their respective levels in the Kenya Navy and Kenya Defence Forces at large.
