EQUITY DUMAS GUN DOWN ULINZI WARRIORS AS SNIPERS THRASH JKUAT STRAYCATS IN KENYA BASKETBALL FEDERATION  ACTION

Equity Dumas Basketball team subdued a stubborn Ulinzi Warriors by  58-57  points to move closer in the chase for Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF)Premier league title in an epic battle and a thrilling game played at the Ulinzi Sports Complex indoor arena in Lang’ata, Nairobi.

The highly spirited Warriors proved a hard nut to crack for the bankers in the first two quarters, with their main talisman Erick Mutoro launching several on target shots from the onset of the game to the detriment of the visitors. The home team however failed to maintain the tempo with many defence lapses for the rest of the game.

Equity Dumas’  game plan of tight defending and capitalising on the warrior’s defence blunders dented the hopes of the home team  of  maintaining the lead.  The last two quarters saw the visitors dominate the match, leaving scanty chances for the opponents to find the hoop.

Earlier in the day at the same venue, Zetech Sparks beat JKUAT Lynx by 72-24 points as they made forays towards dominating the female KBF title.
