CAREER DEVELOPMENT DAY AT MOI FORCES ACADEMY NAIROBI

Moi Forces Academy (MFA) held its annual Career Day at the academy in Nairobi County. The event was attended by speakers from Moi Air Base (MAB), parents, teachers, and students. The primary goal was to provide career guidance to the pupils and motivate them to work diligently towards their future aspirations.

Lieutenant Colonel Danson Mwangi, the Parents Association Chairman, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of being role models for the children.

“Children learn by observing. Always strive to be an inspiration to any pupil you interact with. This gives hope to our kids. Thank you for always being there to support our children to fully understand their talents and professions in the near future,” said Lt Col Mwangi.

The school’s headmistress, Madam Jackline Okwaro, also expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success.

“Thank you for taking the time to speak with our children. It is our duty as their guardians to provide guidance in everything they aspire to be. Thank you for inspiring them and helping them understand that with God, determination, and hard work, everything is achievable,” stated Mrs Okwaro.

Kenya Air Force (KAF) soldiers drawn from different specialties encouraged the pupils to pursue careers that best suit their talents, as well as underscoring the community’s collective effort to support the students’ career development.

Career Day holds significant importance for the pupils, as it provides them with valuable insights into various professions, helping them make informed decisions about their future. It serves as a platform for the students to interact with professionals and gain firsthand knowledge about different career paths.
