THE COMMANDER KENYA AIR FORCE OFFICIALLY RECEIVES NEW PERSONNEL

The Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF), Major General John Omenda officially received new KAF service members and opened their Induction Course on Monday, 29th November 2021 at the Moi Air Base (MAB) gymnasium hall.

The Commander Kenya Air Force accompanied by various Seniors Officers among them the Base Commander MAB Brigadier Samwel Kipkorir and Commandant KAF Training Wing (KTW) Col Eutychus Ndegwa addressed the new posted soldiers who have just finished their basic military training at the Recruit Training School in Eldoret.

The ten-week induction course is aimed at augmenting the training they underwent at the Recruit Training School by familiarizing them with the organization, functions and roles of KAF, KAF formations and units as well as other relevant life skills. This is geared at equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge that will develop their character and enable them perform their duties effectively thereby ensuring they are mission ready.

Sharing words of wisdoms with the new service members the Commander KAF advised them to take their work serious as it is a calling to serve the nation. “You took an oath to obey all laws and carryout your duties without fear or favor and you should be ready to do this 24/7,” reiterated Maj Gen Omenda.
