Defence Principal Secretary Mr. Patrick Mariru and the Director of China Railway Engineering Group, Mr. Hu DongPo earlier today signed a housing agreement contract dubbed ‘KDF Public Private Partnerships Housing Project’.
The agreement is a joint collaboration between the Ministry of Defence and the China Railway Engineering Group which intends to construct residential accommodation and associated support facilities across 5 sites.
The said project will provide affordable housing across Roysambu, Nanyuki, Gilgil ,Lanet and Nyali which will curb the housing shortage for military personnel.
In attendance was the Director General of Public Private Partnership MBS, Mr Christopher Kirigua, Vice Chief of Defence Forces (VCDF) Lieutenant General Jonah Mwangi and other senior Military Officers.
