Grade II Staff Course participants and staff from the Defence Staff College (DSC) in Karen on Wednesday, 16th February 2022 visited Kenya Air Force (KAF) Headquarters at Moi Air Base, Nairobi.
Led by the Commandant DSC Major General Peter Njiru, the team received a warm welcome from the Commander KAF Major General John Omenda who presided over a presentation on the role of KAF in national and regional security to the course participants at the Lieutenant General S N Thuita Talanta Theatre Auditorium.
The Commander KAF urged the course participants to make good use of the knowledge acquired during the course as it will aid their decision making in future, especially at the strategic level of leadership.
“Do your best to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills as very soon you will find yourselves serving at the strategic command levels,” said Major General Omenda.
The participants were later taken through a static display of KAF aircrafts.
The visit was aimed at familiarizing the course participants with the role played by KAF as well as other aspects of its operations towards enriching their studies.
