COMMANDER KENYA AIR FORCE OFFICIALLY RECEIVES NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS

Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF), Major General John Omenda officially received new KAF Officers and opened their Induction Course on Tuesday, 28th March 2023 at the Moi Air Base (MAB) Officers’ mess.

The newly posted Officers who have just finished their basic military training at Kenya Military Academy (KMA), comprise of General Service Officers (KMA 10) and Graduate General Service Officers (Intake 41).

The induction course which will transit into the Junior Officers’ course, is geared at equipping the Officers with the necessary knowledge about KAF, which will assist them to become mission ready.

During his remarks the Commander KAF welcomed the new Officers to the KAF family and advised them that it was a beginning of along journey which will be successful if they uphold a high level of integrity and discipline.

“You have trained to endure any situation you face and you should be able to work anywhere you are deployed,” said Maj Gen Omenda.

“I expect you to serve our nation with all your energy and sacrifice whenever called upon,” reiterated Maj Gen Omenda.

Acting Commandant KAF Training Wing (KTW) Lt Col Franklin Bett assured the Commander KAF that the training for the newly Commissioned Officers had been well tailored to ensure they get a good understanding of KAF operations and prepare them for deployment.

Also present were the Base Commander MAB Brigadier Samwel Kipkorir, KAF Principal Staff Officers, MAB Commanding Officers and Officers .
