WELCOME BACK KENCOY 15 – DARFUR!

Commander Kenya Army Lieutenant General Walter Koipaton today hosted the Kencoy 15 – Darfur, at Kenya Army Headquarters, for their welcoming home party.

The party was held in honour of the Kenya Defence Forces contingent comprising of 75 Military Police personnel who returned home after completing their tour of duty under the African Union – United Nations Hybrid Operation Mission in Darfur (UNAMID).

Lt. Gen W Koipaton congratulated the soldiers for the successful completion of their tour of duty and safely coming back home to KDF and to their respective families.

“Am happy that there were no complaints from the host country, you maintained your professionalism and discipline during your mission. The core mandate while on your Mission was mainly Military Law and Order Enforcement and Investigations, which you executed.

Unfortunately, I am sorry you could not invite your families today to come celebrate with us due to this pandemic though I am certain that they are proud of all of you.” said the Army Commander.
