SHARING IS CARING

St Michael AC Church from Defence Headquarters on Thursday 08 December 2022 visited New Hope Children’s home in Kawagware, Nairobi where they donated assorted foodstuffs, clothes, mattresses, diapers, books among other items.

The visit was aimed at sharing and spreading love with the less fortunate members of the society ahead of the December festivities.

Miss Evelyne Siemeko the owner of New hope children’s home centre expressed her gratitude saying that the donations will go a long way towards taking care of the children’s upkeep for a while especially with the ongoing drought.

“I am grateful for spending time with us and your generosity. This visit encourages and give hope to the children and it is with such support that we are able to keep helping them here,” said Ms Siemeko.

Warrant Officer Class One Johnstone Kioko, who is a member of Chaplaincy at the AC church thanked the Camp Admin Unit (CAU) Commandant Colonel Lawrence Ntoyai and other well-wishers for their immense contributions towards the donations.

“We are happy to share the love this festive season; sharing with the less fortunate and raising our kids in religious ways, will make the world a better place,” he added.

The children’s home has more than forty children most of them under the age of ten.
