Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel stationed at Sangailu Forward Operating Base (FOB) led by Major Julius Ngolesia undertook various Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities to residents of Koran Hindi village in Garissa County affected by drought to the locals.
The soldiers in collaboration with Ijara Member of Parliament Hon. Ali Abdi distributed clean water and assorted foodstuffs.
The KDF soldiers further met area security teams at Sangailu Police Station with an aim of beefing up security in the region.
The MP hailed the military and other security agencies saying his office will continue working closely with them to ensure the region remains pacified.
