The Commander Kenya Army, Lieutenant General Walter Koipaton, on 11 and 12 August 2021, visited troops based in Isiolo and Nanyuki.
The visit included inspection of various Kenya Army training facilities aimed at sharpening army personnel for mission readiness.
The Commander urged the soldiers to continue dedicating themselves in serving the Republic as well as maintain good relations with locals wherever they are deployed.
“We are facing an ever changing environment on security threats we encounter. There is need for us to continue relentless training for us to be ahead of the enemy. I therefore urge you all to be mentally and physically prepared to undergo these trainings from time to time so that we can succeeded as an army,” said the Commander.
In attendance were Formation Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and Service Members.
