Principal Secretary (PS) for Defence Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed last week, on behalf of the Ministry, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) at the Defence Headquarters in Nairobi.
The MOU will see trainees from the Kenya Defence Forces’ technical training institutes get accredited by NITA, a positive step towards providing high-quality training, research and on-job attachment.
Present during the signing were, Assistant Chief of the Defence Forces Operations, Doctrine and Training (ACDF OPD&T) Major General Peter Muteti, NITA Director Mr. Stephen Ogenga, Defence Headquarters Chief of Training, Development, Establishment and Equipment Table (Ch of TDE &ETs), Brigadier Bernard Korir, senior officers and representatives from NITA.
