The Base Commander Wajir Air Base (WAB) Brigadier Stephen Sane presided over the official opening of WAB Warrant Officers and Senior Non Commissioned Officer’s Seminar on 22nd June 2022 at the Air Defence Wing located in Moi Air Base.
The two-day event is a routine seminar among WAB tactical leaders, aimed at addressing air space dynamics towards a secure and safer air space. In addition, the participants will be taken through personal issues such as financial management, Drug Abuse, Psychosocial care and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD).
Speaking during the event, Brig Sane thanked the participants for their dedication and commitment in safeguarding the Kenyan Air Space under the _Ngao ya Anga_ clarion call for mission readiness.
“I also recognise your pivotal role in Innovations, Research and Development to address operational gaps,” added Brig Sane.
The Base Commander WAB was accompanied by various Commanding Officers and Officers drawn from Wajir Air Base which is mainly tasked with Air Defence roles.
