KDF troops from 4th Brigade currently training in Archers Post Samburu county conducted a medical camp at LARISORO Community Dispensary between 18-22 October 2021.
The medical team led by Lt Col Dr Ali treated residents suffering from both acute and treatable cases and also offered counselling support to the patients. A total of 500 patients were attended to mostly women and children.
The dispensary maternity wing that was opened by Major General Matiri, General Officer Commanding the Eastern Command on 11 June 2021 is now now operational and of great assistance to the community.
During the medical camp, the County Medical personnel also administered the COVID 19 vaccine to the legible residents.
The camp was closed on Friday 22 October 2021 with Deputy Brigade Commander Col Maiyo donating assorted drugs and surgical supplies to the nurse incharge of LARISORO dispensary Mr James Lemarampa who thanked KDF for the immense support.
