Commander Kenya Navy Base (KNB) Manda Bay, Brigadier Peter Chelimo on Wednesday, 22nd June 2022 presided over the graduation ceremony for Senior Leadership Command (SLC) Course at the KNB Manda Bay.
In his remarks, Brigadier Chelimo congratulated the graduates for successfully completing the course and challenged them to fully exercise the acquired skills in their respective fields of operations. “This course opens up your progression and promotion opportunities as career Service Members in line with Chief of the Defence Forces’ (CDF) vision to generate personnel with higher levels of mission readiness to increase KDF’s ability to respond faster and resolutely to national security challenges, to deter potential threat and to build the right competencies for national development,” he added.
The course was tailored to equip the participants with the requisite knowledge and skills in order to prepare them to be competent leaders and middle-level managers within the Kenya Defence Forces.
