Over 132 soldiers have today 27 April 2023 graduated at the Recruits Training School (RTS) after they successfully completed six-weeks of rigorous training in Drill and Duties (D&D) Course 01/23 in a colourful ceremony presided over by the School’s Commandant, Brigadier Joel Arimi.
The graduates drawn from the three services; the Kenya Army, Kenya Air Force and the Kenya Navy underwent intense training to nurture their character, command and leadership skills to prepare them for mid-level military command.
In his remarks, the Commandant congratulated the graduates for their endurance and resilience throughout the training period.
He implored them to put into practice the skills they have acquired for the benefit of the soldiers under their command.
“I am confident that during the six weeks of your training, you have been able to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to transform you into effective Warrant Officers and Senior Non Commissioned Officers within the Kenya Defence Forces,” said the Commandant.
