Moi Forces Lanet Academy Chairman, who is also the General Officer Commanding Western Command Major General David Tarus, together with the Board of Management (BOM), the newly posted Principal Mrs. Mary Njogu, teaching and non – teaching staff of Moi Forces Academy, on 06 February 2023, welcomed Form One students at the school in Lanet, Nakuru County.
The new students are beginning their secondary school education after successfully completing their primary school education and sitting for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examinations in 2022.
In his remarks while receiving the new students, the Chairman, Major General David Tarus, urged the staff to continue inculcating positive character attributes and attitude in the learners in order to ensure they excel in their studies that will enhance their productivity in the society after they complete their studies.
‘‘I congratulate the staff for their commitment to executing their duties with utmost professionalism that has enabled the school to produce impeccable results in the national examinations. I urge you to continue the great work of moulding the students by imparting skills and discipline to enable them to succeed in their studies and life,’’ said Major General Tarus.
Major General Tarus further urged the learners to take cognizant of the institution’s core values that are critical in achieving its vision and also shaping their mindsets in becoming responsible citizens.
