SPREADING CHRISTMAS LOVE IN ELDORET REGION

Deputy Commander Kenya Army Major General David Tarus visited troops deployed in Moi Barracks, Eldoret. The visit was aimed at boosting their morale as well as wishing them good tidings in the festive season.

Addressing the soldiers, Major General Tarus applauded the soldiers for their dedication, patriotism and service throughout the year, mentioning that every soldier should endeavor to set high standards in professionalism, discipline and dedication, urging them to perform better in the coming year.

He further urged all service personnel to prioritise self-security during the holiday season and extended his warm wishes for a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year for the troops and the families.

“I want to thank all the soldiers for a job well done this year and your families for the continuous support they give you when you perform your duties. I want to wish you all and your families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” he said.

Deputy Commander Kenya Army also took the opportunity to convey a message of goodwill and festive cheers to the soldiers from Chief of the Defence Forces, Commander Kenya Army and the entire KDF leadership.

Major General Tarus also visited patients admitted in different wards at the Eldoret Regional Hospital, wishing them quick recovery and assuring them of the KDF leadership’s commitment in ensuring they get the best medical services for their recovery.

Major General Tarus also visited the Defence Forces Recruits Training School (DFRTS).

Present during the visit were the Commander 110 Brigade, Brigadier Peter Assava and the Commandant DFRTS Brigadier John Kipya and among other senior officers.
