SERVING AND RETIRED OFFICERS FROM KENYA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS MEET FOR MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

Serving and retired Kenya Army Officers from the Kenya Army Ordnance Corps (KAOC) held a get together on Friday, 4th November 2022, at Kahawa Garrison.

The event, organised by Corps Commander KAOC Colonel Zainab Golo, was held under the theme, “Sharpening The Arrowhead Through Mentorship,” and was graced by the Commander Kenya Army Lieutenant General Peter Njiru.

In his speech, Lt Gen Njiru applauded KAOC for the initiative and recommended that other units to follow suit with mentorship get together programmes.

“This is so far the best programme to reunite serving and retired officers. I urge other units to conduct such programmes so that the officers can get the opportunity and platform to share their experiences in the system,” said the Commander.

The mission of Kenya Army Ordnance Corps is to provide supply support to the Kenya Army through acquisition, warehousing and distribution of Ordnance Stores in order to sustain Army Operations both in peace-time and war-time and limited support to the Kenya Air Force and the Kenya Navy as and when required.

Present during the event were serving and retired Kenya Army Senior Officers and Officers.
