PRESIDENT UHURU VISITS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

H.E Hon Uhuru Kenyatta President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander in Chief (C-in-C) of the Defence Forces today visited the injured at the Defence Forces Memorial Hospital (DFMH) following the air crash accident involving the Mi 17 1E Kenya Air Force Helicopter on Thursday, 24 June 2021.

The C-in-C visited those at the Wards and ICU. He encouraged them and wished them quick recovery.

He expressed his gratitude for their dedication and selfless sacrifice in service to the nation.

The Mi 17 1E helicopter crash landed while on a training mission at Ol Tepesi, Ngong,  in  Kajiado County.

Present during the visit were the Vice Chief of the Defence Forces Lieutenant General Levi Mghalu, Commander Kenya Army Lieutenant General Walter Koipaton, Commander Kenya Air Force Major General Francis Ogolla, Director of Medical Services Major General (Dr) George Nga’nga, Senior Medical Officer (DFMH) Brigadier (Dr) Charles Kingori, Chief of Compensation and Welfare Brigadier Jeremiah Maroko among others.
