LAUNCH OF COVID-19 VACCINE

The 4th Brigade Commander, Brigadier Lukas Kutto, today launched the Covid-19 Vaccination Exercise for Wajir Forward Operation Base and other Military Establishment in the region.

This is part of the ongoing Phase 1 of the National Immunization Programme in the fight against Corona virus.

The excercise was conducted in partnership with Wajir County Level 5 Hospital. The MoH team was led by Madam Sahara Adow, who is the Coordinator of Expanded Programme of Immunization (EPI).

Speaking during the exercise, Brigadier Kutto urged all personnel deployed in the North Eastern Sector to take part in the immunization process as this will help in having a healthy force ready to serve in the frontline.
