KDF TROOPS TREAT BODHEI LOCALS AND SUPPLY CLEAN WATER

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops based in Garissa County, under Operation Amani Boni, recently conducted a medical camp and delivered fresh water to residents of Bodhei.

KDF medical team treated area residents with different medical ailments including stomach complications and respiratory-related diseases. The troops also distributed clean water to the locals from the different villages.

The Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Tarrit Kimutai expressed KDF’s commitment to improving the overall health of the community as well as regular supply of clean water.

Area elders appreciated KDF’s efforts and committed to support security agencies in the region to curb insecurity.

Present during the exercise were the Garissa County Commissioner and his Assistant.
