KDF TROOPS OFFER MEDICAL AID TO OMAR JILLOW RESIDENTS
The Kenya Defence Forces Troops from 88 Artillery Batallion operating in Omar Jillow today offered free medical aid to area residents at Omar Jillow Primary School where over 80 patients comprising children, women and the elderly were treated for various ailments.
Led by the Assistant Chief Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Abdi and the school Head Teacher Mr. Mohamed Farah Bure, the residents appreciated the gesture from the troops, led by Maj Opepe, that lessened their long-distance trip to seek for medical attention in Mandera town.
KDF troops deployed in the area continue to collaborate with the local community to maintain security in the North Eastern Region.
