The Engineers Brigade inter-unit sports competition kicked off on Monday 29th November 2021 at the Engineers Brigade Headquarters, Thika.
The five-day tournament will see six teams compete in football, netball, basketball and handball in a bid to form a formidable team in each discipline to represent Engineers Brigade in the annual Chief of Defence Forces ‘BORA CUP’.
Commander Engineers Brigade, Brigadier Swaleh Saidi presided over the tournament’s official opening and urged the participants to show sportsmanship and comradeship during the games towards building esprit de corps.
The curtain raiser football match between 10 Engineers Battalion and 12 Engineers Battalion ended in a barren draw.
