KAHAWA GARRISON GIVES DONATION

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel from Kahawa Garrison Barracks, led by the Kahawa Garrison Admin Officer, Captain Adannur Mohamed Ibrahim, recently donated assorted food items and diapers to parents of children with disabilities and the elderly in Kahawa Wendani, Nairobi County.

The initiative aimed to spread festive cheer among vulnerable members of the community while fostering and strengthening the relationship between KDF and the local population.

In his remarks, Captain Ibrahim emphasized that Christmas is a time for giving, sharing, and spreading love. He underscored the importance of unity and ensuring no one in society feels alone or forgotten. “As KDF, it is part of our mission to not only protect but also serve and uplift the communities we live in. We stand with you not just today but every day. Let this festive season remind us all of the strength we find in unity.

Let it be a time for joy, gratitude, and the forging of deeper bonds between us. We are here for you, and together we can face any challenge that life may bring,” he said.

The event was attended by Wendani Senior Chief Christine Makimei, Assistant Chief Bonnie Muchuku, community health promoters, and Nyumba Kumi representatives.
