The Junior Joint Command and Staff Course 096/23 graduation ceremony was held on 14 Nov 23. The Course which commenced on 11 Sep 23 and ran for 14 weeks, comprised 50 participants drawn from the different Services of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). The ceremony was graced by the Commandant Joint Command and Staff College, Maj Gen E M Kinuthia accompanied by the college leadership.
The aim of Course is to equip participants with requisite knowledge and skills to perform duties in operational, command, and staff appointments more effectively at Unit and Formation level while providing the basis for subsequent professional development.
In his address , the Commandant appreciated the Junior Division Directing Staff and the College Faculty for their commitment and effort in shaping the students into the competent officers that they had become. He congratulated the officers on the successful completion of the course and commended them for the visible resilience and dedication throughout the course. He urged them to uphold the highest standards of command and staff duties wherever they will be deployed.
