The Junior Joint Command and Staff Course 093/22 commenced on 08 Sep 22. The course comprise of 42 participants drawn from different services of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). The opening ceremony was graced by Commandant Joint Command and Staff College Maj Gen E M Kinuthia accompanied by Deputy Commandant/CI – Brig Mwamburi among other senior officers.
The Course is aimed at equipping participants with requisite knowledge and skills to perform duties in command and staff appointments more effectively while providing the basis for subsequent professional development.
On his keynote address, he told the student Officers to pay close attention during this training in order to tap from the wealth of knowledge and experience of each other and that of the directing staff so as to effectively and efficiently undertake assigned duties once they complete the course.
The course is scheduled to run for 14 weeks and will end on 16 Dec 2022.
