JOINT COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE CONDUCTS REGIONAL VISITS

The Senior Joint Command and Staff College Course number 39-2023/24 carried out Regional visits to the African countries of Ghana, Uganda, Mozambique, Zambia and Botswana as part of the course requirements.

The visits conducted between 11-14 March 2024 were in line with the students studies professional and academic programmes with emphasis on International Relations and theme of: THE NEXUS BETWEEN NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND REGIONAL SECURITY which exposed them to the practical aspects of the theoretical learnings. The Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College Maj Gen E M Kinuthia and faculty led the visits.

In the five countries, the Course visited sister Command and Staff Colleges, Headquarters, Ministries of Defence and Defence HQS, selected Ministries, institutions with linkages to Defence Industry and Economic development and cultural sites.
