The India High Commissioner to Kenya, Ms. Namgya Khampa, paid a courtesy call to the Cabinet Secretary for Defence, Honourable Aden Duale at the Defence Headquarters, Nairobi; on Tuesday, 8 November 2022.
The two leaders held talks focusing on the existing cooperation on defence and security between the two nations.
They further explored future areas of cooperation that can be persued by the two nations to help foster bilateral and military relations. The visit also aimed at promoting professional engagement between the two nations towards better interoperability and ways of promoting cooperation within the maritime domain, training, Border securitisation, modernisation and medical sphere.
The High Commissioner was accompanied by Joint Secretary Department of Defence, Mr Shri Manish Tripathi, Comde Sairam Balaji, Advisor (IC -III) MoD and India’s Defense Advisor (DA) Captain Nitesh Garg.
