GRADE 2 STAFF COURSE PARTICIPANTS GIVEN AN OVERVIEW OF THE AIR FORCE

The Base Commander Moi Air Base (MAB), Brigadier Samwel Kipkorir on Wednesday, 15th February 2023, led Staff Officers at Headquarters MAB in welcoming Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC) staff and Grade 2 Staff course participants to the Base.

The JCSC staff and course participants led by Colonel Head of Writing Team (Col HOWT) Col William Kiprotich were briefed on the role of Kenya Air Force (KAF) in National and Regional Security, at the Talanta Theatre auditorium.

Presiding over the presentation, the Chief of Operations KAF, Col Charles Munyao reminded the course participants to make good use of the knowledge acquired during the course as it will aid them to make better strategic decisions in future.

The participants were later taken through a tour of the Engine Maintenance Squadron (EMS) and a static displays of Kenya Air Force aircraft.

The visit was aimed at familiarizing the participants with the role played by the Kenya Air Force as well as other aspects of its operations that are useful to their studies and knowledge.

Also present during the visit were Deputy Base Commander MAB Col Herbert Wafula, MAB Commanding Officers and Officers.
