ETHIOPIAN PRIME MINISTER LAYS WREATH AT UGNM&M

Air Force Deputy Commander Brigadier Peter Githinji today received His Excellency Abiy Ahmed Ali the Prime Minister of Ethiopia in a colourful ceremony at Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museum (UGNM&M) in Lang’ata, Nairobi.

Prime Minister Ahmed proceeded to lay a wreath of flowers at the tomb of the Unknown Warrior as the Kenya Air Force personnel conducted a troop in line parade for the dignitary.

A minute of silence was also observed in respect to all the fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate price while serving the country.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister was accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary for Transport and Roads, Honourable (Hon) Kipchumba Murkomen.

Also present at the ceremony were Senior Officers and Government officials, Officers and Service Members.
