The Cabinet Secretary for Defence, Hon. Soipan Tuya, held discussions with a United Nations (UN) delegation led by Dr. Stephen Jackson, the UN Resident Coordinator in Kenya, during a courtesy visit at Defence Headquarters, Nairobi.
The meeting focused on strengthening mutual relations and enhancing collaboration in key areas such as peacekeeping operations, maritime security, and humanitarian support.
Hon. Tuya was accompanied by Brigadier Samuel Kimani, Chief of Strategic Plans and Policy; Brigadier Edward Rugendo, Chief of Operations; and Brigadier Yvonne Kerubo, Chief of Legal Services. Also present were Ms. Anna Mutavati, UN Women Representative in Kenya, and Mr. Antony Ngororano, UNDP Resident Representative.
