Defence Cabinet Secretary Hon. Aden Duale today hosted the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, His Excellency Prof. Petr Fiala during his visit to the National Defence College (NDC) in Karen, Nairobi.
H.E Prof. Fiala who is on a two-day official visit in Kenya was briefed on the mandate of the College in contributing to national security infrastructure, peace and stability not only in the Country but also regionally and in the global arena.
NDC contributes to Kenya’s continued endeavour to invest in the capacity building of security agencies by instilling key skills and competencies to enable them to contend with the contemporary threats to security.
During the visit, the National Security Advisor of the Czech Republic Mr. Thomas Pojar who was accompanying the Prime Minister delivered a lecture of opportunity to the 65 participants of Course 2023/24 drawn from 15 countries in Africa and Asia.
Also present were the Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla, Service Commanders, and other senior military officers.
