Defence Cabinet Secretary Hon. Aden Duale has today held bilateral talks with the Secretary General of the East African Community (EAC) and the Secretary to the Summit of EAC Heads of State and Government Hon. Peter Mathuki who paid him a courtesy visit at the Defence Headquarters.
The CS affirmed Kenya’s commitment to continue championing all efforts aimed at having a more cohesive and integrated community of nations to realize the much desired regional peace, securing and prosperity.
Hon. Duale and Hon. Mathuki discussed a wide range of issues that are of mutual benefit to the EAC Member States and explored areas of possible cooperation and partnership.
He assured the Secretary General of Kenya’s absolute support towards the realization of the EAC Agenda for the region.
The Chief of Operations at the Defence Headquarters Brigadier Gilliad Kimonge was present during the meeting.
