COMMUNITY SERVICE BY THE KENYA MILITARY ACADEMY

Instructors and Cadets of the Kenya Military Academy today conducted a Community Service Activity at Israel Faith Children’s home in Lanet. The activity was themed “Give a Little, Help More” and was led by Cadets intake KMA 10/23.

The Kenya Military Academy is the Officer Foundational training Centre tasked with Force generation of Officers for the KDF.

The Community Service Program is a tool of Character Development that is a major emphasis in training at the Academy.

The Character Development component of training is in line with the Academy’s mission of being a centre of excellence in foundational Officer training and education.

Character Development seeks to produce well rounded Officers to take up leadership roles in the KDF in line with the CDF’s philosophy of “Sharpening the Arrow head and being Mission ready”.

Today the Cadets KMA 10/23 Spent the day with the young Children at the centre aiding them in cleaning, gardening and games. The Cadets also donated assorted foodstuffs and beds for the children.
