COMMANDER KENYA NAVY HOLDS HIS MAIDEN CLEAR LOWER DECK

The Commander Kenya Navy Major General Thomas Ng’ang’a held his maiden clear lower deck at Kenya Navy Base(KNB) Mtongwe and KNB Manda Bay.

During his address, Maj Gen Ng’ang’a underscored his vision of quality training for operational effectiveness. He stated that his ambition is to see Kenya Navy equipped with well-trained human capital capable of executing their mandate professionally and confidently.

“We must embrace quality training for operational effectiveness in order to provide maritime security to the Republic of Kenya. We will make every effort to guarantee that our core trained staff are experts in their fields so that we can get the most out of our knowledge investments. All of us should commit to seeking professional knowledge and filling knowledge gaps in our areas of expertise,” he stated.

The Commander Kenya Navy also emphasized on integrity, divisional system, effective communication, discipline, team building, and devotion to naval traditions and etiquette as the foundations of a professional navy.
