Thursday, 1 July 2021 – The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Robert Kibochi laid a foundation stone for the construction of a new Roman Catholic Church at Defence Headquarters in Nairobi.
The church, set for completion by December 2021 shall replace the existing one to accommodate more worshipers.
The ultra-modern cathedral shall also have offices of the priest and other senior leaders of the church.
The CDF was accompanied by the Vice Chief of the Defence Forces (VCDF) Lieutenant General Levi Mghalu, Assistant Chief of Defence Forces Personnel and Logistics (ACDF P&L) Major General Fatuma Mohammed among other Senior Officers.
