BOLSTERING COOPERATION BETWEEN KAF AND RAF

British Royal Airforce (RAF) Air Vice Marshall, Richard Madison, Air Officer Commanding (AOC) 22 Group on 24th February 2023 paid a courtesy call to the Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF), Major General John Omenda at KAF Headquarters in Moi Airbase (MAB).

During the visit, Maj Gen Omenda and Air Vice Marshall, Richard Madison discussed and explored possible opportunities and areas of co-operation between RAF and KAF including: co- operations between the two Nation’s Air Forces, security matters and possible future co-operation in the defence domain at Commander KAF’s office.

The AOC 22 Group was afterwards taken for a tour around the Base. This included visiting the Air Moves section and runway.

Also present during the visit were UK Defence Attache (DA) Brigadier Ronnie Westerman, Chief of Personnel KAF Colonel Alphonce Ndar and Deputy Base Commander MAB Colonel Herbert Wafula.
