Multi-Agency Security Teams airlift aid to flood victims

Multi-Agency Security Teams operating in the Boni Enclave have continued to offer humanitarian assistance to communities affected by floods in their area of responsibility.

The security teams airlifted donations of over 4.3 tonnes of assorted food, sanitary items, tarpaulins, tents, blankets and water treatment reagents for distribution to the affected people in Kulesa in Tana River County, Mokowe and Kiunga in Lamu County. The donations were from the Kenya Red Cross and the Government Relief Food.

The members of the public thanked the security agencies for airlifting the donations to them and always being a reliable humanitarian partner, who always stepped in to help them during crucial moments.

The Multi-Agency Security Teams operating within the larger Boni Enclave have continued to provide assistance to the residents in the area, aimed at alleviating the socio-economic challenges afflicting them.
