Covid-19 Testing at Kenya Navy

The Kenya Navy is engaged in mass testing exercise of its Service Personnel and their family members for COVID-19 aimed at fighting the pandemic.

The exercise dubbed ‘Komesha Korona’ is part of the measures taken by the seamen to keep the disease at bay given that they operate in the coastal region that has recorded high numbers of coronavirus infections since the first case was recorded in the country.

This exercise complements the other preventive measures put in place to fight the coronavirus as guided by the Ministry of Defence that include wearing of masks, washing hands and keeping social distance.
