Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF) Major General John Omenda on Tuesday, 22nd March 2022 visited Moi Air Base (MAB) Sports Camp in Ngong, Kajiado County.
During the visit, Commander KAF inspected various departments and premises used by the athletes and boosted their morale by encouraging them to keep up the good effort.
Addressing the athletics team, Major General Omenda recognized the athletics team’s achievements locally and internationally that have made Kenya Defence Forces and the Country proud.
He congratulated and recognized the efforts of the outgoing KAF Sports Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) WO1 George Odera and urged all to follow in his footsteps.
“I encourage you to continue with the same spirit, maintain discipline and Kaizen your efforts in the forthcoming athletics events,” the Commander said.
Maj Gen Omenda was accompanied by Base Commander Moi Air Base Brigadier Samuel Kipkorir, Senior Officers and Officers.
