Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops partaking in the multi-agency operation in Laikipia county last week donated geometrical sets, other exam aid materials and assorted foodstuffs to candidates of Wangwaci Primary School in Kirima Sub County.
The troops wished the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education candidates success in their national examination, assuring them of security.
The team took the opportunity to inspire and mentor the learners on their career progress as they prepare to transit to the next phase of their education.
The school’s headmaster Mr. Richard Kimutai thanked the troops for the donation and the ongoing efforts to keep the area safe.
Wangwaci Primary School is among schools that were closed at the height of insecurity in Laikipia but later, learning resumed after security agencies restored calm.
