KDF TROOPS CARRY OUT CIMIC ACTIVITIES IN GARISSA

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops stationed at Sangailu Forward Operating Base (FOB) led by Officer Commanding Maj Julius Ngolesia, took various Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities to Wakabharey in Garissa County in bid to foster a relationship with the locals during the holy month of Ramadan and Easter holidays.

The activities ranged from free medical camps for over 300 residents among them women, children and the elderly, to free water distribution and tree planting.

The beneficiaries couldn’t hide their joy saying the activities were successful owing to the cordial relationship between the military and the local community.
