KDF PERSONNEL DEPLOYED IN DRC OBSERVE EASTER HOLIDAYS

Kenya Defence Forces (DRC) troops deployed in the Eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) today joined other Christians across the globe in marking this year’s Easter Holidays at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

The sacred day offered the faithfuls to commemorate the sufferings, crusification and death of Jesus Christ for the sins of mankind.

The event saw Officers and service members carry the Cross, pray and reflect on the Catholic faith and teachings, signifying the importance of Jesus Christ’s death on the Cross and after the three days he resurrected in order to save the humankind of the World.
