NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE GOES GREEN IN NGONG FOREST

The National Defence College (NDC) on Friday, 6th May 2022 conducted a tree planting exercise at Ngong forest.

Speaking during the tree planting exercise, the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Bulukhu encouraged the planting and care of trees in line with KDF’s Environmental Soldier Programme which aims at restoring and protecting the country’s forest cover.

He appreciated the supporting organizations present for providing the indigenous seedlings used during the tree planting exercise saying this goes a long way in supporting KDF’s quest to take care of the environment.

Over 1500 indigenous trees were planted.
