The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) in collaboration with National Counter Terrorism Centre (NTCT) conducts Counter Violent Extremism training to Manyani maximum prison staff.

Prisons have been pointed as one of the fertile grounds for furthering radical ideologies due to high population involving people who have committed different crimes across the country.
