DEFENCE PS, DR. IBRAHIM M MOHAMED HANDSOVER TO HON. PATRICK MARIRU

Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed has today, 5 December 2022, handed over the Ministry of Defence (MoD) Principal Secretary (PS) docket to the incoming PS Hon. Patrick Mariru at the Defence Headquarters in Nairobi.

In his remarks during the handing over event, Dr. Mohamed expressed his sincere appreciation to both the military and civilian leadership at MoD, who exhibited a great work ethic and offered him immense support for more than three years he served at the Ministry.

He pointed out that the exemplary performance witnessed at MoD was as a result of unity and consultative engagements among the leaders, the Military personnel and Civilian staff at the Ministry. Dr. Mohamed further welcomed the incoming PS Hon. Peter Mariru to the Defence family and urged him to maintain the Ministry’s status quo.

On his part. Hon. Patrick Mariru voiced his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Nation and promised to work together with both the Military personnel and the Civilian staff in implementing the MoD mandate. He further appreciated the outgoing PS for his support and contribution to the MoD millstones.
