On 16th September 2024, the Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF), Major General Fatuma Ahmed, visited Moi Air Base (MAB) Primary School, where she received a warm welcome from the Headmistress, Mrs. Pauline Njoroge, along with the school staff and pupils.
During her visit, Maj Gen Ahmed toured the school to inspect various projects and infrastructure developments being undertaken. Additionally, presentations were made on the school’s establishment, activities, and challenges.
In her address, the Commander commended the Headmistress for implementing initiatives aimed at improving the school’s performance. Further, she encouraged the teachers to collaborate to ensure the delivery of quality education. She also advised the students to remain focused, work hard, and listen to both their teachers and parents.
Mrs. Njoroge expressed her appreciation for the Commander’s visit, stating, “It is a great honor to have Maj Gen Ahmed with us today. We are now more motivated and committed to continuously improving our school’s performance.”
She also emphasized the important role military schools play in the personal development of students, blending academic education, discipline, and leadership training.
